
Creative Workshops: ”International Landscape Day”
As part of the International Landscape Day, which falls on October 20, the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management organized the event: “Landscape Day and Geodiversity Day at the Campus on Borna” under the theme “HEALING LANDSCAPE”. Around 220 participants, high school students, attended the lectures, workshops, and excursions. The FOCUSE team, consisting of Dr. habil. Alicja Krzemińska and Dr. Eng. Anna Zaręba, conducted a lecture titled: “Biophilia and Ecopsychology in Urban Design” and creative workshops: ”Wroclaw 2021. A Self-Sufficient City, Food Production in the City” attended by high school students from Lower Silesia. During the design workshops, which focused on the future of cities and increasing their self-sufficiency in terms of food, students had the opportunity to creatively design an ideal green city using Wrocław as an example.
