Creative Workshops: Nursery School 08.12.2024 r.

On December 8, 2024, the FOCUSE team visited Kindergarten No. 51 “Kolorowy Początek” in Wrocław. During the workshop titled “Wrocław – A Green City Full of Fruits and Vegetables” the oldesdt kindergarten groups joined us in drawing their vision of what Wrocław should look like with fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens growing throughout the city. The creative workshop was preceded by a 15-minute presentation about green cities, green architecture, and the cultivation of edible plants in urban areas.

The main objectives of the workshop were:

1. To develop children’s ecological awareness through the design of green urban spaces.
2. To educate about the benefits of greenery in cities, such as improving air quality, reducing pollution, and providing access to locally grown food.
3. To stimulate children’s creativity and design skills in the context of sustainable urban development.
4. To introduce concepts such as green architecture and circular urban agriculture.
